URGE NT 7 TH GRADE IMMUNIZATION REMINDER
As a reminder, all students entering 7th grade are mandated by Florida law to have a “Tdap” immunization. An
updated copy of your student’s immunization record showing the required dose of Tdap should be brought to the
school before the start of the school year. Proof of this immunization must be provided before 7th grade students
will be permitted to pick up their schedule of classes or begin school.
If your child has not already received the vaccine, please contact your physician or the Florida Department of
Health in Walton County to obtain the immunization. The Tdap immunization for 7th grade student is administered
at no cost through the health department.
For more information, the Florida immunization requirements are found in the Immunization Guidelines for
Florida Schools, Childcare Facilities, and Family Daycare Homes, which is incorporated by reference in Rule 64D3.046, Florida Administrative Code. You may also visit http://www.immunizeflorida.org
for additional information.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Our small but determined Relay team (ECMS Rays)
worked hard with the help of Mr. Infinger, the staff and
students of ECMS to raise ...drum roll please, $1297 for
Relay for Life. The final counts are not in so there is a
little more to add to this impressive total. Next year we
plan to make this bigger and better! If anyone would
like to make a donation to our team search for Relay
North of the Bay and click on the team list, find us and
donate. The event is over, but cancer is not so our
team is still accepting donations. Thank you to
everyone for a great Relay.
~Ms. Murray
