The Long Trail Brewing Company Jct. Route 4 & 100A, P.O. Box 168 Bridgewater Corners, VT 05035 802-672-5011 www.longtrail.com Long Trail Ale Since 1989, the Long Trail Brewing Company has been a regional brewer of high-quality, Vermont hand-crafted alternatives to imported beer. Centrally located on the banks of the beautiful Ottauquechee River, the Long Trail Brewing Company takes the words “Made in Vermont” to the next level. By combining the best domestic ingredients available, the “Best Tasting Water in Vermont,” as awarded by the Green Mountain Water Environment Association, and a genuine passion for brewing in our homemade sixty-barrel brew-house we produce the best selling ales in Vermont. Long Trail Ale is a full-bodied amber ale modeled after the “Altbiers” of Dusseldorf, Germany. Our top fermenting yeast and cold-finishing temperature result in a complex, yet clean, full flavor. Originally introduced in 1989, Long Trail Ale quickly became, and remains, the largest selling craft beer in Vermont. It is a multiple medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival. The Long Trail Brewing Company not only makes great tasting beer of the highest quality, but we also hold our commitment to enviromental consciousness and the promotion of healthy active lifestyles to the highest standard. In following with these efforts, we at Long Trail Brewing remain highly involved in the activities of our local community, Vermont and beyond. By actively promoting both outdoor sport and great tasting, handcrafted beer, we encourage everyone to live well. It is our hope that by setting a leading example in not just quality of beer, but also quality of life, we are able to inspire others to do the same. We welcome you to be our guest year round. Hibernator Traditional IPA A hearty and robust Scottish Ale, this full-bodied, malty brew with a smooth finish features a blend of 6 malts and a dash of honey. A great winter warmer! Real IPA, as it was first enjoyed by the British colonial troops in India, was not the carefully filtered brew that we call IPA today. Traditional IPA’s were unfiltered and featured extra hops and higher strength as a preservative for the trip from England to the colony of India. As a refreshing celebration of the heritage of this great beer style Long Trail Brewing offers you a real IPA, both dry-hopped and unfiltered. Try one, and raise your glass with us in the spirit of tradition! Available: November through February, 12 ounce bottle, 6-pack, 12-pack, draft (5 gallon “log,” 50 liter keg).
