Before dipping down into the Yorke
Peninsula, visit the Wadlata Outback
Centre and enjoy a self-guided tour
through the "Tunnel of Time" where you
will gain an understanding of how the
Flinders Ranges and the Outback
evolved. Travel south to Moonta whose
residents cherish the title of Australia's
Little Cornwall, which acknowledges its
proud and rich Cornish mining heritage.
Pass through Maitland which is known
as the heart of the Yorke Peninsula and
onto the east coast at Ardrossan with its
red cliffs and deep water seaport.

Day 9: Saturday 3rd September
Adelaide ~ Victor Harbor
Today we head for the Fleurieu
Peninsula, the last of the three
peninsulas. After a leisurely breakfast,
board the luxury Langley’s Coach and
travel through McLaren Vale and
Willunga before arriving at the old
whaling town of Victor Harbor. Visit the
Whale Centre for a guided tour before
boarding the horse drawn tram for a
return ride to Granite Island. For those
that wish to get up close and personal
with a whale, join an own expense whale
watching cruise while on Granite Island.

Swan Hill ~ Narrandera
After breakfast, travel to the Pioneer
Settlement situated on the picturesque
banks of the Marraboor River. Embrace
the past with the feeling that you have
stepped back in time. From the 1850s
Pioneer Cottages to Towaninnie
Homestead to our Mallee Township you
can wander at leisure in a bygone world
experiencing real Australian history. This
afternoon travel through Kerang and
Finley to our overnight accommodation

your personal effects. Clothing should be
casual, with lighter clothing necessary for the
tropics and warmer clothes for the southern areas, especially for some nights. Bring

repellent, sensible walking shoes, warm jacket
and an extra supply of all camera needs.
Motels
Your comfort is important so we select the best
motels available and all** the rooms have private
facilities. Most motels are licensed, centrally located with swimming pools and laundries.
**Facilities in remote areas may be less elaborate
and may not have private facilities.
Meals
Every morning we start with a full Australian
breakfast of fruit juice, cereal or fruit, a cooked
dish, toast and coffee and tea. Except for
special occasions, lunch is not included as
individual preferences vary so much. Dinner is
two or three course, some evenings free for
dinner of own choice.
Smoking and Alcohol
