MONTGOMERY COUNTY BAIL BOND BOARD MEETING
MARCH 20, 2003
The regular scheduled meeting of the Montgomery County Bail Bond Board was held at
12 NOON on THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 2003 in GRAND JURY ROOM, located at 301
N Thompson, in Conroe, Texas. Those in attendance were:
Board Members in attendance: Judge Edie Connelly, Judge Kathleen Hamilton, Cyndi
Benson-Guenther, Debbie Reeder, designee for County Treasurer, Martha Gustavsen,
Mark Turnbull and Robert Rosenquist as Advisor.
ITEM A.
MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes of the March 6, 2003 meeting was made by Mark
Turnbull, seconded by Debbie Reeder. Motion carried.
ITEM B.
COUNTY TREASURER’S REPORT
Debbie Reeder reported the total collateral is $2,692,008.16, the investment with
Texpool is $65,271.68. The administration fund balance is $0.00. A motion to approve
the County Treasurer’s report was made by Cyndi Benson-Guenther, Mark Turnbull
seconded the motion. Motion carried.

PRESIDING CHAIR
1.
Judge Connelly brought the board up to date on the Bail Bond
Board information being posted on the County Website so that
everyone has access to the agenda and plan to post the minutes
from the previous meeting on the website. Judge Connelly made a
motion to include the agenda and minutes on the Website. Cyndi
Benson-Guenther seconded the motion. Motion carried.
2.
A motion to approve payment of secretarial services was made by
Cyndi Benson-Guenther. Debbie Reeder seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
SURETY REPRESENTATIVE
1.
No action was taken regarding releasing collateral for Amwest.
Judge Connelly advised a formal written request be made by
Amwest and that the Treasurer’s office is aware of the request
before a board meeting.
2.
No action was taken on complaints. The complaints were listed as
typographical errors.

ADJOURNMENT
1.
A motion to adjourn was made by Cyndi Benson-Guenther,
seconded by Debbie Reeder. Motion carried.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
THE PERMANENT LOCATION OF THE BOARD MEETINGS WILL BE
HELD AT THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY AT 104 INTERSTATE 45
NORTH IN THE LARGE MEETING ROOM.
JUDGE CONNELLY IS REVIEWING ALL THE SURETY FILES,
CENTRALIZING INTO ONE LOCATION AND REVIEWING LICENSES.
