Flipped Classrooms:
Come along and flip a classroom. Session will include a little bit of theory (what
it’s all about) and practical approaches on how getting students to be more
independent and responsible for their learning.

Revision is boring, but how does it feel when you have to revise something 30,

Looking at the specification from the other side and gaining an insight in to
paper production. Having an awareness as to specification demands. Getting
the most out of a marking team
The trouble with boys—a look at male underachievement:
A student focused investigation into boys achievement. A group of students
will have worked on why boys underachieve and some strategies to address the
gap. The session will share our findings!
E-Safety:
Problems and dangers that students face whilst online, problems caused by
Facebook, chat rooms, how we can advise students on keeping safe online and
what we should do to protect ourselves. All

Role Play and Active Learning:
Tired of making differentiated worksheets? Can’t keep the students in their
seats? Then come and see the benefits of using role plays to explain new
concepts in lessons.

When was the last time you were a student? To help you reflect on your

A beginners guide to Adobe Illustrator:
Learn to use an industry standard piece of software, great for Art and Design
subjects and anyone wanting to add a professional finish to their work.

out. A practical session where you will get to have a go at some of the different

include a range of highly practical workshops which tackle the day-to-day
