Special Draw winner: Barb Jorgensen QUESTIONS FROM THE FLOOR Q: Is fecue used as a lateral hazard line on the Links Course (Darcy) A: Yes Q: Al Clark - Winter Play, 5-5.5 Stimp. Would it be possible to shut down Links M-W to concentrate on resources one course, to make playable? Sand traps never raked in winter. Other local courses not as bad. Could save money by shutting down a course 2-3 days/week. A: Great question. Don’t know if there’s a ton of extra work required to keep both open. Green height is raised to handle winter conditions. Closing one course will not have a great impact. Not much maintenance on greens in winter. Challenge with weather ie. March 10, both courses packed. Not much labour on bunkers during winter. Q: Ladies handicap computer to be replaced? 4 A: Yes Q: Links 18th trees cut down. Will they be replaced? A: Not replaced. Taken down for safety. Q: 15th Ladies Tee box. Can it be shorter during year? Also #4. (Darcy) A: Yes, it should be maintained during peak season. Q: Bridge repairs, liability, someone will hurt themselves. A: Are being addressed. Will be a major capital expense. Q: Beaver control? A: Beaver control is ongoing Closing: Dennis Thanks for attending Meeting adjourned @ 11:45pm: Appies and beverage served. 33 members in attendance: Armstrong, Linda Birth, Glen Brinton, Maggie Brotherton, Al Chan, Eugene Chen, Terry Clark, Al Desilets, Marcel Goulding, Steve Grisley, Ken Heppner, Leslie Howes, Dennis Jacobsen, Darcy Jacobsen, Wilf Jones, Ron Jorgensen, Barb Jorgensen, Dennis Knill, Surjana Kocheff, Roger Koronovich, Andrew Labelle, Bob McLaren, Bruce Milldhall, Tom Mullany, Sean Rahim, Abdul Ralphs, Steve Rennie, Shawn 5 Shen, Chung Ming Shin, Christine Shin, Mike Sullivan, JJ Thibault, Doug Zall, Dave Staff in attendance: Browne, Brian Eng, Ray Fuchihara, Tim Peverley, Troy Veller, Joe Nastasha Streiling - Server Jodie Vance - Bar 6
