ANNOUNCEMENTS Lynda Guthrie introduced Liz Rouse from Transcendence Theatre Company. The theatre is located at Jack London State Park and programs were passed out with this season’s schedule. To date, this group has donated $268,000 to the preservation of Jack London State Park. Suzanne and Andy Esquivel gave us a talk about the importance of a Safe and Sober High School Graduation Party. Mary St. Claire presented our club with a certificate from Ft. Carson 6th Battalion from the 6.8 Armor Brigade for our SOS boxes. Good job Club! John Merget presented Dan Chapin with his Blue Badge. Way to go Easter Bunny! Mike Potmesil presented Shirleen Bastar with her Paul Harris plus 6. Thank you Shirleen!! RECOGNITIONS Jeff Civian donated $100.00 to his Paul Harris to honor the birth of his grandson. Paul Frechette donated $68.00 to the Education Fund for his birthday. Sally Hubbell donated $100.00 to the Graduation Fund for her Yosemite Trip with her son. Dr. Dave donated $100.00 to the Healdsburg High School Graduation Fund. PE Kate Buchanan donated $10.00 to the Club for her Hawaii Trip. Aloha! PROGRAM Jean Herschede gave us an update on Amigos de Guatemala which sponsors Scholarship, Education and Heathcare. Status: 66 students have graduated with half of them go-ing on to university. They also sent $500,000 worth of medical equipment for three clin-ics in Guatemala. RAFFLE: Sally Hubbell won today’s raffle, but did not draw the winning marble. She did receive a lovely bottle of Bertapelle wine.
