Our specialist subject is the safe
heating or cooling of liquids and
process solutions. Using computerassisted heat requirement calculations, we determine the heat output
required for your processes and offer
you comprehensive advice.
Durable sheath materials and small
installation dimensions accommodate the compact conditions found
particularly in galvanic and surface
treatment environments.
Angular immersion heaters and storage tank heaters can also be used
in low liquid level tanks in order to
prevent freezing, crystallization and
thickening of the liquid.

products range are particulary ideal
for the direct heating of aggressive

Where space is at a premium and
harsh chemicals are used, the PTFE
GALMAFORM heating rods and flat
bath heater GALMAFLON are ideal.
The heating rods can be formed on
site by the end user or in our factory
to a customer drawing, making it a
very versatile heater.

are ideal for heating liquids, meltings and gases. Different mounting
options can be offered, particularly
for horizontal fixings.

Heating and Cooling
with Plate Heat Exchanger
The metal plate heat exchanger
SYNOTHERM is designed as an
indirect heating or cooling system
for use in galvanising lines and tanks
where small assembly dimensions
and a good resistance to process
fluids are required.
Plate heat exchanger SYNOTHERM®
The plate heat exchanger consists of
one metal base plate (two welded,
structured metal plates), and an
inlet and outlet. The material used
will either be stainless steel or titanium. The surface has a shiny finish
but can also be designed to have an
electropolished finish.

Due to the stability of the plates,
the danger of the plate heat
exchanger being mechanically
damaged or deformed is significantly reduced, compared to pipe
coil heat exchangers. The plate
heat exchanger’s mechanical set up
eliminates the risk of sudden loss of
pressure or pressure surges.
The plate heat exchanger's universal
dimensions and various connection
possibilities (flange or threaded
nipple) open up a variety of installation options for you, allowing you to
solve complicated installation situations easily. Thanks to the minimal
plate thickness (<12 mm), the heat
exchangers need only small space
for installation.

Controlling and Monitoring
Our monitoring and control
equipment offers high reliability
and maximum protection. We offer
individual components or complete
solutions - from sensors to control
electronics. One key safety aspect
is the independent function of the
monitoring equipment and control
technology.
Float switches MTSu MTS float switches and NS level rodprobes control the minimum and
maximum liquid level and ensure
monitoring of the liquid volume
while reacting to the danger of leaks
and overflow.
The KNS continuous level measurement system detects the level of
corrosive liquids, cleaning solutions
and water. It converts it into a
4...20 mA signal. This means that
levels in a tank can be measured
continuously, processed and evaluated via a PLC, for example.

Controlling and Monitoring
The ETS and ENR level equipment
control and monitor exactly the
liquid level in the tank and prevent
emptying.

temperature controller MTR that the
temperature is maintained.

The STB and ETB temperature limiters react when the liquid overheats.
The B-STRu thermostat independently controls the preset temperature of the liquid substance or it can
be combined with the R0TKAPPE
immersion heater.
