in the First Class Tuckerbox Restaurant for customers
travelling as part of an organised group in Economy
Seats aboard the Spirit of the Outback from Longreach to
Emerald.
Enjoy your journey during daylight hours taking in scenic
and vast country, including the spectacular Drummond
Range.

from the Economy Seat carriage for the scheduled meal
times as per your itinerary.

Tuckerbox Restaurant
Enjoy a hearty outback inspired lunch and dinner,
prepared by our on board chef as you relax in the
ambiance of the traditionally stockman themed
Tuckerbox Restaurant at your designated group meal
time as per your package.
Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine (red, white or
bubbles) or beer with your meal. Other drinks and food
items can be purchased from the Shearer’s Rest Lounge.
Economy Seat
Spacious Economy Seats aboard the Spirit of the
Outback offer a great way to sit back, relax and enjoy
the passing outback scenery.

An Emerald
Drummond
Range
Drummond Range
The spectacular climb up and over the Drummond
Range rises to 535 metres above sea level. The
railway line was constructed over the difficult terrain,
using only hand tools from 1879 to 1883. You’ll
pass through the Drummond Range on your journey
between Alpha and Emerald.
