1 Introduction 2 Paper submission 3 Basic formatting

The server will automatically produce the first page of your manuscript. It will contain the logos of
Acoustics’ 08 Paris, the title of your paper, as well as the names and affiliations of all authors. So this
will be the second page of your manuscript, and here is the place to type your abstract.
The one-column abstract (style Abstract in MS Word) should be typed justified with 10 pt font and
indented on both sides by 1 cm. A 24 pt vertical spacing should follow the abstract. To do so, MS Word
users should click on the ”Format, Paragraph” button.
The abstract must not contain references, equations, or special mathematical characters; its minimum
number of words is 100, maximum 200.

Introduction
Before you start writing your paper for the Acoustics’08
Paris conference, first read the following instructions regarding manuscript preparation in order to have a uniform layout throughout the proceedings. The server will
automatically produce the first page, after reception of
your manuscript. This first page will contain the logos

the names and affiliations of all authors. Please do not
repeat any of these on your manuscript, which
must begin by the abstract.
Your manuscript file should be in DOC, PDF, RTF, or
PS formats, and the server will automatically produce
your article file in PDF format. A correct final PDF
file, ”Acoustics’08 Paris final manuscript”, obtained after submission of the present document, may be downloaded as an example of what your final manuscript
should look like.
Your manuscript should not exceed 6 pages, including the title page, and the final .PDF document size should not exceed 2 MB.

receive the confirmation email within 24 hours after submission, please check your Spam box first, and contact
[email protected], with the reference indicated by
the server at the end of the submission process, or, if you
