Honeywell is streamlining its portfolio of full facepieces, half masks, filters and cartridges
to create a simplified offering that will provide the best experience for our users.
The North® N-series filters, cartridges and cartridge/filter combinations are the most
compact and lightest weight cartridges from Honeywell and will become the single
platform, approved with all Honeywell and North brand half masks and full facepieces.
The North N-series provides a more comfortable, safer experience for workers using our
air purifying respiratory products.

The bestselling Sperian Survivair masks were re-designed to accept the North Nseries cartridges and filters. The same masks workers depend on – with the popular,
smaller, lighter North cartridges and filters. And no new fit testing necessary*!

*Moving to the RU6500 from the Opti-Fit or to the RU8500 from
the Blue 1 or Blue 1H does not require new fit testing. According
to OSHA, “or by using an identical negative pressure air-purifying
respirator facepiece with the same sealing surfaces as a surrogate
for the atmosphere-supplying or powered air-purifying respirator
facepiece. 1910.134(f)(8)(i)”. CSA defines surrogate respirators
as one with "identical sealing surface" Z94.4-11 Section 9.1.7.
