GRAND LODGE SESSIONS AWARDS PROGRAM Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge F. & A. M. Award Criteria Worshipful Master of the Year • • • • • Quarterly obligations submitted in a timely manner to MWPHGL Demonstrates good Leadership Skills Lodge Support District and GL Events and Programs Serve on District and GL Committees Established and Maintain Good Working Relationship with OES Chapter Secretary of the Year: • • • • • Attendance near perfect at meetings Quarterly obligations submitted in a timely manner to MWPHGL Reports to WM if going to be absent previous minutes available Updates roster and provide members changes Grand Session registration three consecutive years Master Mason of the Year: • • • • • • • • Regular attendance and participation at meetings, programs and initiations. Supportive of Lodge fund raisers. Adheres to PHGL dress code at all times Conduct in accordance to an PHGL Grand Session registration for three consecutive years. Participate with OES Chapter Acceptance of Masonic responsibilities Committee work at Lodge, District and Grand Lodge level Past Master of the Year: • • • • • Continues to attend meetings and other activities Performance of Masonic ritualistic work. Mentor and support incoming Worshipful Master Committed in supporting locally and State wide Grand Session registration for three consecutive years. Lodge of the Year: • • • • • • • Indebtedness paid in a timely manner to PHGL Involvement in community service Support PHGL and local Lodges Adhere to PHGL dress code at all times. All officers in regular attendance at lodge meetings. Lodge representation at three consecutive Grand Session Participation in all scheduled Official GL Obligation Days and District Functions such as Founders Day, Master Mason Day, Prince Hall, Esther Day, etc. Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge F. & A. M. Lifetime Achievement Award Criteria The Lifetime Achievement Award will recognize and promote individuals who have made a significant contribution to Masonry in the State of Missouri over a sustained period of time. Eligibility: The Lifetime Achievement Award is The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Of Missouri And Its Jurisdiction’s most prestigious award presented to an individual who has: - 40 years or more of unbroken service - an established history of distinguished service - made a lasting contribution at the local lodge, district and Grand Lodge levels - exhibited leadership and provided inspiration to others in the Craft - attended at least seven Grand Lodge Sessions The Lifetime Achievement Award is an individual award in recognition of a person’s outstanding contributions the masonry. These contributions include knowledge, charity, leadership, service and professionalism. Nominees should have: -made a positive impact on masonry at either local, district or state level -40 years, or more, of sustained unbroken service -earned recognition by industry, community, organization, education or employer -earned the respect of Masonic and professional peers -demonstrated, over an extended period of time a leadership, commitment and dedication to the advancement of masonry demonstrated commitment and service to community demonstrated personal integrity Nominees: Must be a member of a local lodge to be eligible for this award; and must be a 40 year member in good standing. Selection of the nominee is made on the basis of the candidate's significant, fundamental contributions to the masonry (whether in service, leadership, mentorship or other); the lasting impact of these contributions to the masonry; and the demonstration of a lifetime commitment to masonry.
