3 nights INCENTIVE

SPLIT
The people of Split take great pride in proclaiming their
city to be the most beautiful in the world and with good
reason. Once the centre of the Roman empire, the warm
Mediterranean tempo of this lively city fuses seamlessly
with its 1,700 year old history and walking its medieval
streets you can almost sense the ghosts of Roman
traders rub shoulders with its cosmopolitan people
Day One: Splendid Split
Arrival at Split Airport and transfer to a fortified renaissance
water-mill for welcome aperitifs and snacks while serenaded

by Dalmatian musicians. Set sail on a traditional Dalmatian
boat for a leisurely 35 minute cruise along the sandy coastline
to the city’s palm lined harbour. Meander through the Old
City alleyways lined with Roman structures to the hotel of
choice. Later gather for dinner in restaurant Spalatin whose
Prokurative Place setting lends itself to a perfect historical
stage for many cultural events.
Day Two: Discover Diocletian Split
Prepare to explore the tangle of marble streets that make up
the Old City escorted by a licensed guide brimming with tales
of Roman Emperor Diocletian, how he build his imposing
palace, the way he lived. Visit the Diocletian’s Cellars, the
Cathedral, crypt and Jupiter’s Temple. Stop for a Roman
inspired snack at the Diocletian cellars served with honey
liqueur, the nectar of the Gods. Lunch in local restaurant
Apetit, then spice up the afternoon with a bicycle ride round
the city’s sights.
The rustic setting of Enoteka Terra plays host to a tutored wine
tasting of Croatia’s renowned wines before dinner while the
glitzy Hemingway Bar beckons the more energetic afterwards.
