Bethany’s story Bethany is five years old and receives care from East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) Quidenham. Her family are also supported by the service and receive six night stays a year as well as 12 hours per month care at home. When Bethany visits Quidenham, she enjoys taking part in the art therapy sessions. Last year her artwork ‘Hands Up!’ was used as the image on the hospice’s Christmas card, raising funds for EACH. Parents, Caroline and Steve said: “We were extremely proud when we learned that Bethany’s artwork had been chosen for the EACH Christmas card. We were all very excited about it and they looked fabulous. “We can’t put into words how much of a difference EACH makes to our family. The team there are absolutely fantastic and are like an extension to our own family. The team have included Bethany in so many different events and activities since we have received support and her confidence and independence has grown. As a family we’re really made to feel special and love our time spent at Quidenham and the activities Bethany's winning and events we’re artwork featured on invited to.” EACH's Christmas card.
