No time is too soon to open your child's
first savings account. Teaching them
how to handle money and save is one
of the most valuable lifelong lessons.
The Peek-a-Boo Ewe Youth Savers
savings account is available to those
12 years of age and under to share
with youth the value of saving. Stop
in and visit with a Member Service

Spring Money Tips
Bottle Flowers Craft
What you
need:
• Soda bottles
• paint
• paper
• scissors
• paint
brushes
Spring has arrived! With the weather warming up, you
can get started on earning extra money for all the fun
summer plans you have.
Earn Allowance
Ask your parents if you can help with any chores
around the house: doing laundry, preparing the garden
or lawn, doing dishes, cleaning the garage or attic.
Do Yardwork
Offer to help with grass-cutting and gardening. You can
pull weeds, water lawns, or pick up branches during
spring clean-up. Make flyers and drop them off at
houses in your neighborhood.
Instructions:
Pour paint on plates. Use bottom of the bottles to create the
flower petals. Paint stems, leaves, rainbows, the sky, and
more to finish your soda bottle flowers!
Spring Word Scramble
Unscramble the words to reveal some of
the things to look forward to this Spring!

Once you’re legally old enough, take a babysitting
class. Local hospitals usually offer these classes.
Parents are always looking for a good sitter.
Start a dog-walking service
Feed, watch or walk dogs. If you’re really
responsible, you might offer to care for other
people’s pets — like lizards and birds —while
they’re busy or away from home.
Have a Yard Sale
Help your parents find items to sell.
You can be in charge of organizing and running
the sale and keep the money you make.
