Eleanor
"Eleanor" is a classic that received a major refit in 1999, which included new diesel engines,
vee-drive transmissions and a new diesel generator. During the 18 month refit the vessel was rewired and re-plumbed, and the refit was very comprehensive to bring her up-to-date as a
structurally and mechanically sound vessel. She is a rare restored Huckins Ortega model with
much of the original hardware to retain her classic look. Her refit was undertaken with the
thought of retaining a simple 12-volt boat that is owner friendly to service and maintain.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a classic diesel powered Huckins that has been upgraded
and maintained to a very high standard. The refit for this classic Huckins included a re-power
with Yanmar diesels which are highly desirable for a Huckins due to their lighter weight and
dependability. These engines are well maintained and have very low hours (under 700.) The
bilges are in bristol condition having been cleaned well and painted bilge gray. The re-wiring
and re-plumbing during the refit brings the vessel up to current standards. The boat has always
been stored under cover in fresh water and has been yard maintained under the current
ownership. The boat is in pristine condition!! Come see it for yourself, call us to set up your
showing today! "Eleanor" was just reduced (5/6) and is priced to sell so please bring all
reasonable offers!
