printing for sentences, paragraphs, and other lessons.
®
The materials and workbook eliminate problems with formation, spacing, and reversals. Lessons invite active
participation and address diverse learning styles by incorporating music, Letter Sizes and Places activities,
poetry, rhyming, antonyms, and other engaging concepts.
My goal is to make handwriting a natural and automatic skill. The attached chart shows you how to make the
letters and numbers. I am excited about helping your child develop good handwriting skills.
Throughout the year, I may ask your child to bring items from home to support classroom lessons. I may also
send materials for home practice and discussion. I would be delighted to discuss this curriculum in detail as well
as ideas for how you can further support lessons at home.
Sincerely,
P.S. I want to support your involvement in your child’s learning and invite you to go to hwtears.com to watch
how-to videos that will show you what your child will be learning this year. I also encourage you to download
activities and try them at home.
