Auction Guide
Auction Procedures:
SILENT AUCTION
Silent Auction items will be available for viewing and bidding from 7:00 p.m. until the close of
the Silent Auction at about 9:00 p.m.
Bid sheets will be displayed near each item. The bidder should clearly print his or her paddle
number found on the back of the event program when registering. Each succeeding bid must
equal or exceed the required increment as shown on the bid sheet and must be in round dollar
amounts.
Winning bids for the Silent Auction will be displayed on wall posters after the close of the silent
bidding, at about 9:15 p.m. Please be sure to check which items you won and proceed to the
Fulfillment Table.
LIVE AUCTION
Live Auction items will be auctioned from approximately 8:15 p.m – 8:45 p.m. Please take a
moment to note your paddle number on the back of your program. You will be raising this
above your head, number side facing the stage, when bidding on a live auction item. At the
conclusion of the Live Auction you will have 15 minutes to finalize Silent Auction bids.
PAYMENT
Those with winning bids should proceed to the Fulfillment Table to claim items. Personal checks,
cash, and credit cards will be accepted tonight for payment.
CONDITIONS OF SALE
All sales are final and subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donors. All items
have been donated to the Friends of 187 and are sold by it and not the donor. Purchasers may
not ask for refunds or exchanges from the donor.
By participation in the auction, each bidder recognizes and agrees that neither the Friends of
187 nor anyone who assists in the conduct of the auction shall be liable for any occurrence
resulting from the use of auctioned items and services.
