This web quest is designed to have students explore and research a famous scientist of their choosing from the list specified by student’s last name. Once they have collected all necessary details and information about their scientist, they will then fill out a resume of the scientist and relevant information using the format provided. The final step will include a brief presentation to the class of their resume. The objective of this web quest is to get you to research famous scientists. There is a list of scientists that includes many names of scientists you may have never been introduced to before. After you select the scientist from the appropriate list based on your last name, you will research that scientist. You will find information about them and create a resume that includes all of the researched information. In the end, you should have learned more about the scientist you researched, as well as other scientists you classmates have researched. Your final project will be turned in for grading and posted for others to see and read. Let's have some fun! All submissions must be in the form of a resume. Do not submit presentation slide shows or other forms of products. Feel free to use the attached template for your resume. Make sure you delete the red text before you print.
