Some tips and reminders before you begin
your persuasive business letter:
(Erase to reveal the tips/reminders.)
• FONT: Font should be size 12, Times New Roman
• MARGINS: 1 inch on left/right, center letter
vertically when finished
• SPACING: Enter/return after each part of the letter
and after each body paragraph
• PUNCTUATION: Put a comma after the city and
before the state in each of the addresses. Use a
colon after the salutation. Use a comma after the
closing.
