MONTANA CONSERVATION CORPS
Scholarship Program
As a non-profit organization, Montana Conservation Corps is excited to announce that we have
developed funding to assist corps members with some of the financial costs they may encounter in
accepting a term of service. These funds are made available through a generous grant from the
Kendeda Foundation as well as other grants and donors.
Assistance will be awarded based on both financial need and program hiring needs. Priority will be
given to first-time MCC corps members. However, alumni are still eligible to apply. Depending on the
term of service, the typical award ranges from $50-$200, not to exceed $600. Please do not request
more assistance than you need.
HOW TO APPLY
All applicants must:
1. Have completed conditional offer paperwork for a term of service
2. Complete the MCC Scholarship Application
3. Attach your most recent 1040 tax return (if requesting over $100). Applicants who are
dependents must also submit their parents’ or guardians most recent Form 1040. If you are
unable to provide a recent 1040, please send in (3) of your most recent pay stubs.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and you will be notified of an award after conditional
offer paperwork has been completed. Please give the scholarship selection committee at least (3) weeks
to review your application. Please note that most awards will be reimbursement-based and will arrive
after your start date and submission of receipts. If an advance is necessary, please make note of that on
your application. Please make sure your application is legible.

MCC also rents out some gear for a minimal cost per stipend check. Check with your regional office for more
