The 12 Finger Zones Your personality orientation Each finger is divided into 3 sections: lower, middle and upper. The lower zones are about base appetites, the body, physical and visceral needs (related to the energy of that finger). The middle zone is to do with the material world, every day practicalities related to the energy of that finger. The upper zone is about philosophical and abstract issues related to the energy of the finger under question. Dominant zones can be longer in length or larger in width. Weaker zones can be relatively shorter or eroded/concave. Sometimes an entire zone is missing, but this is rare. You could interpret it as extra challenges in this zone. When in doubt, ask the owner what they think. S A J The mental plane M Related to Ideas Related to others/objects The material plane b The physical plane Related to own body © Jena Griffiths http://handanalysisonline.com The 12 kittens Richard Unger offers a useful analogy. He says, think of these zones as 12 kittens. Compare their relative lengths and thicknesses. Then ask yourself: “Which kitten is stealing milk from the others? And, which kitten is undernourished?* The zones show where you are focusing your energy; indicating your personality orientation or strengths. The weak zones show where you need to focus more energy. Vertical lines in these zones show additional positive energy related to the zone. Horizontals in the finger zones show where you are blocking yourself. The meanings of each zone. Before we start, just a reminder: The index (Jupiter) finger is about power and influence. The middle (Saturn) finger is about value (self worth) The ring (Apollo) finger is about creativity and display. The small (Mercury) finger is about communication, and intimacy. The left hand is inwardly expressed. The right hand shows what is outwardly expressed. So, apply this to each finger: Right Jupiter is about power out in the world, left Jupiter is about inner power. Right Saturn is about value out in the world. Left is about inner value (self worth). Right Apollo is about display, being seen. Left Apollo is inner reputation fears. Right Mercury is about outer communication. Left is about inner communication and intimacy. © Jena Griffiths http://handanalysisonline.com Zones Summary Jupiter (power) Saturn (value) 1. territory 1. foundation 2. status 2. money 3. ideals 3. systems Apollo (display) Mercury (communication) 1. socializing 1. sex 2. negotiation 3. ideas 2. designer 3. critic’s eye © Jena Griffiths http://handanalysisonline.com Jupiter/Zeus Zones Lower Jupiter 1: (usually 20% larger than the other zones) The zone of territorial wants If this is the largest needs a big territory stands ground If this is the weakest zone avoids confrontation poor boundaries not sure what he wants honor, tradition important cant get enough? if rounded - discontent?
