Performance History
Hardly a newcomer to the music scene, Trina Nestibo has been belting out soulful tunes since
childhood. Twenty years of classical piano, post-secondary studies in voice, an appearance at
Carnegie Hall with the Brandon University Chamber Ensemble and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy all demonstrate Trina’s passion and dedication for music.
A seasoned performer, Trina has formed and/or been a member of several bands and ensembles
over the years including Nothin’ But Trouble, Soultree,tree, Tumbleweed Stew and Bryan Bayley and the Circus. Throughout her extensive career, Trina has shared stages with the Wailin’
Jennys, Pied Pumpkin, Steve Pineo, and others to numerous to mention. She has travelled near
and far appearing at venues and events such as Festival Place (Neil Young Tribute Show : Sherwood Park, AB), Edge of the World Festival (Haida Gwaii, BC), the Atlin Summer Music Festival
(Atlin, BC), South Country Fair (Fort Macleod, AB), East Coulee Spring Festival (East Coulee,
AB), Wild West Bluegrass Festival (Calgary, AB), the Rocky Mountain, Full Moon and Northern
Lights Folk Clubs (Calgary & Edmonton, AB) and even at Carnegie Hall as a teenager singing
with the Brandon Univeristy Chamber Ensemble.

The Band
Trina has been touring and performing as a duo with dobro and pedal steel legend Charlie Steel
(Valdy, Gaary Fjellgarrd, Randy Bachman, Neil Osborne (54-40), Billy Cowsill). When joined by
a full-band, players include: John Hyde (upright bass), Donnie Saviak (drums), Scott Duncan
(fiddle), Rodney Brent (mandolin), and Ron Casat (keyboard, B3).
