Addendum
Drama skills are used during mime which is used in many of the
lessons particularly when learning new vocabulary or phrases.
There is room for cross-curricular topics which form part of school
based projects as in the Rousseau Project.
There will be more songs and use of authentic French Resources
as used in the equivalent of ‘We are going on a Bear Hunt’ which
was adapted to the tiger hunt for the Rousseau Project, used with
a Year 3 class. Also the cartoon story of the Jungle Book outlining
the simple beginning of the story in French which the children
thoroughly enjoyed.
