There is room for cross-curricular topics which form part of school based projects as in the Rousseau Project. There will be more songs and use of authentic French Resources as used in the equivalent of ‘We are going on a Bear Hunt’ which was adapted to the tiger hunt for the Rousseau Project, used with a Year 3 class. Also the cartoon story of the Jungle Book outlining the simple beginning of the story in French which the children thoroughly enjoyed. LiteracyFormation of basic sentences using capital letters and full stops are reinforced in all lessons as is handwriting.
