with two years remaining for loan closing date.
As of end March 2015, the outcome indicator (inter-regional power exchange in a year) has out-performed (provisional: 84,368MU) its revised targets
(70,000 MU). In addition to the Outcome Indicator, four other key results indicators that helped track project performance are: (a) transmission capacity measured in overall circuit kilometers of transmission lines built and operated by POWERGRID; (b) transformation capacity - measured in circuit
kilometer; (c) Percent of project affected people rehabilitated - measured in percent; and, (d) cumulative transmission capacity per meter width of rightof-way within forest area.. At the end of March 2015, the transmission capacity was 115,637ckm (actual) against a target of 114,000 ckm. Similarly,
POWERGRID's transformation capacity was 231,709MVA (actual) against a target of 200,000 MVA. With regard to indicators on environment and
social, POWERGRID has also met its targets for FY2015 (% of people rehabilitated - Actual 100% against target of 100%); and, cumulative
transmission capacity per meter width of RW within forest areas - Actual 23.08 MW/ meter against target of 21.5 MW / meter.
