MEMORANDUM FOR ASMC MONTGOMERY CHAPTER MEMBERS

SUBJECT: General Meeting, 27 April 2011 Minutes
1. The American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) Montgomery Chapter convened a
meeting at 1130 hours on 27 April 2011, at the Officer’s Club, Maxwell AFB, Montgomery,
Montgomery AL.
2. Mr. Bob Magee, Chapter President, welcomed everyone and called the meeting to order.
The group recited the Pledge of Allegian
Allegiance and Mr. Sam Kora provided the invocation.
3. The meal was served and the meeting was paused while the guests enjoyed their meal.
4. Ms. Barb Gill introduced the guest spea
speaker, Lt Col Jeffrey Coggin, Chief, Leadership and
Communication Studies at Defense Financial Management and Comptroller School at Maxwell
AFB, AL. Lt Col Coggin provided an engaging presentation on Leadership and getting the
enthusiasm and passion back into your personal and professional life.
5. Business Discussion: President Magee discussed the need for volunt
volunteers
eers for elected positions
and committee chairs. Ms. Barb Gill asked for options for meeting venues.
6. The May 2011 meeting has not been ffinalized at this time.
7. The meeting was adjourned
djourned at 11245.
