Recognises numbers: 1-100
 Counts quantities 1-20
 Able to use addition 1-10 and 10-20
 Able to use subtraction 1-10 and 10-20
 Can tell time using o’clock and half past
 Can recognise and name 3D shapes:
cube, sphere, cylinder, pyramid,
cone, cuboid
 Can name several light sources including the sun. Can recognise that they
cannot see in the dark. Can explain that they cannot see shiny objects in
the dark because they are not light sources.
 Can recognise and describe many sounds.
Can state that they hear
sounds through their ears. Can describe what they observe when they
move further away from a sound.
