1. Do you invite young adults to serve on your worship committee, and encourage those so
gifted to lead worship, or share music during worship?
2. Have you evaluated your worship services in light of the general desire by young adults
for more contemporaneity?
3. Do you generally have at least one young adult serving on your church council and/or
elders?
4. Are there specific events or activities for young adults in your church?
5. How many of your Sunday school teachers are young adults?
6. Have there been specific measures taken in your church to better understand the
perspectives of young adults who are both inside and outside of the church?
7. Are you intentional in reaching out to single persons?
8. Do you feel that the members of your church are just as welcoming to young singles and
to couples who do not have children as they are to young couples with children?

circumstances of single parents?
