EMS
Since its foundation in 1981, the Swiss company EMS has evolved into one of the most
successful dental companies worldwide. Especially two prophylaxis methods represent
the particularity of the enterprise: the AIR-FLOW® method ensures the reliable
removal of soft tooth deposits and the original method Piezon® with the unique
NO-PAIN® technology removes hard deposits supra- and subgingival. This method
constitutes the highest developmental stage of piezon technology and leaves extra
smooth tooth surfaces, maximum protected gums and relaxed patients.
By combining these two methods, the first compact prophylaxis unity of the world
was born: the AIR- FLOW Master Piezon®. In use with the AIR-FLOW® powder PLUS,
an advanced powder based on erythritol and a very fine particle size of 14 microns,
treatments are possible both above and below the gingival margin. This holistic kind
of prophylaxis creates a goldstandard which offers unequalled opportunities.
AIR-FLOW® and PIEZON® are significant elements of GUIDED BIOFILM THERAPY,
which consists of treatment protocol based on individual patient diagnosis and risk
assessment to create optimal results with the highest level of comfort, safety and
efficiency. Find out more about this gold standard and visit our booth at EFP Perio
Master Clinic in Malta!
