Brown Deer Police Department Weekend Report Friday, October 28, 2016 Total Calls for Service: 37 Noteworthy Calls for the Day Disturbance - Walmart Walmart reported that a subject was filming inside the store by the pharmacy. Employees asked the subject to leave the store and he became agitated. Dispatch had also received information that there was an altercation that occurred with the subject after being asked to leave. Upon officers’ arrival, the male subject was still inside the store shopping. Loss Prevention advised that the subject had stopped filming and could remain inside the store as long as there were no additional problems. Loss Preventions also stated that an altercation never took place. An officer stood by to ensure there were no problems. No action taken. Suspicious Activity – Fairy Chasm Park An unidentified caller reported a vehicle in the parking lot with an open door that they believe is abandoned. The caller then called back and stated that they believe someone is sleeping in the back seat of the vehicle. Officers made contact with a 16 year old male resident and a 16 year old female resident, who were in the vehicle talking. They were not in need of any assistance. Suspicious Activity – 8700blk N 51st St A 47 year old male resident reported suspicious activity at his residence. The male was uncooperative with dispatch and stated he did not want an officer to respond to his residence. Contact was made with the resident by phone. He stated that his neighbor, a 50 year old male resident, observed a male subject wearing a gray t-shirt pushing buttons on the code panel on his garage. The subject then left the area in an unknown direction. The neighbor did not have any further description of the subject. The caller advised that there was no damage to his garage and he just wanted the information noted. Missing Juvenile – 8600blk 63rd St A 34 year old female resident reported that her 17 year old daughter left the residence without her permission. The juvenile has been acting out lately and was believed to be with a known friend. An officer contacted the friend by phone and the 17 year old answered. She stated she was not returning and then proceed to say vulgarities multiple times. The 17 year old was entered as Missing and a report was filed. Disorderly Conduct – Applebee’s Applebee’s reported that a female subject is being loud and obnoxious and they wanted her escorted out. Officers made contact with a 25 year old Milwaukee female, who agreed to leave. Brown Deer Police Department Weekend Report Saturday, October 29, 2016 Total Calls for Service: 44 Noteworthy Calls for the Day Domestic Violence – 8200blk 46th St A 23 year old Milwaukee female reported that her ex-boyfriend, a 25 year old male resident, pushed her, grabbed her arm, threw her car keys in a bush, and stole her wallet and phone from her vehicle during an altercation. Officers attempted contact with the male, but he was not home. Charges of Domestic Violence-Disorderly Conduct and Theft will be referred to the District Attorney’s Office. The Department of Corrections also entered a warrant for the male’s arrest. A report was filed. Warrant – 4200blk Hawthorne Trace Rd A 32 year old female resident requested an officer to stand by as she returns to her apartment because she believes her boyfriend is still there. An officer made contact with her boyfriend, a 29 year old male resident. He was arrested for an outstanding warrant with the Milwaukee County Sheriff 's Department, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Schedule II Narcotic, and Obstructing. The male was conveyed to the station, booked, cited, and turned over to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department. A report was filed. Motor Vehicle Theft – 8500blk 59th St A 52 year old male resident reported that his vehicle was stolen by a known suspect. The male stated that he bought a 2003 Ford Windstar for his girlfriend, a 33 year old Milwaukee female, and now she is not returning it. The male was given recommendations and advised that it was a civil matter. Solicitor Complaint – Walmart Walmart reported a solicitor in the parking lot. An officer made contact with a 23 year old Milwaukee male, who was advised regarding Soliciting and Trespassing on private property. He left the area. Warrant – 6000blk Wahner Ave An officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver, a 27 year old Milwaukee male, had an open warrant with the Wauwatosa Police Department. The male was arrested and conveyed to the station. He was booked, signed a Personal Recognizance Bond, and was released. A report was filed. Brown Deer Police Department Weekend Report Retail Theft – Burlington Coat Factory Burlington Coat Factory reported that a male subject selected toddler clothing, a watch, and a men's winter jacket and then ran out of the emergency exit. The suspect left the area in a green SUV. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle. A report was filed. Sunday, October 30, 2016 Total Calls for Service: 33 Noteworthy Calls for the Day Property Damage – 4300blk Bradley Rd A 64 year old female resident reported damage to her vehicle. The female’s vehicle was parked in the garage overnight and someone damaged her lock while trying to gain access to her vehicle. A report was filed. Neighbor Trouble – 4100blk Cherrywood Ln A 53 year old female resident reported that her neighbor was blowing leaves on to her patio area. The neighbor, a 77 year old female resident, disputed the fact that she was blowing leaves on the patio. Both parties were counseled. Warrant – 5700blk Brown Deer Rd An officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver, a 41 year old Milwaukee female, had a valid warrant with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department. The female was arrested and conveyed to the station. She was booked and turned over to the Milwaukee County Sherrif’s Department. A report was filed. Code Violation – 4900blk Radcliffe Dr An unidentified caller reported leaves burning in the area. An officer made contact with a 41 year old male resident. He was warned about burning leaves and advised of the Village Ordinance. The male extinguished the fire. Trespassing – 8100blk 54th St A 35 year old male resident reported that two known juveniles entered his front yard and removed his political sign. Officers located the juveniles. Two 15 year old male residents admitted to taking the sign as a joke. The male chose to press charges against both juveniles for Trespassing. A report was filed.
