Read more Mayor of London’s Achievement Awards for 2015 Go Kingston Volunteering (GKV) strongly urges volunteer involvement organisations to nominate a volunteer. Each year GKV has nominated a person for this prestigious award. Momentum Garden wins gold medal at Chelsea Flower Show Heritage2Health: Sense Share Enjoy at Ham House - 10 July Storytelling, sensory walks, yoga, singing, make a posy, faicepainting and sandwiches from a local bakery. The garden, designed by Chris and Lorraine Birchall of Tale Valley Nursery in Devon and sponsored by Chartridge Developments Ltd, featured a willow sculpture to depict a Momentum family and owl in a tree, to represent Mo the charity’s mascot. DM Thomas Foundation for Young People Grants for registered charities working with disadvantaged young people in the fields of education or health, particularly those who have disabilities, are homeless, sick in hospital or life limited. Sportivate Sportivate is a funding stream aimed at community orientated organisations to attract and sustain 11-25 year olds in sport and physical activity. Deadline 15 June. Philip Bates Trust Arts Grant Grant for individuals and voluntary and community organisations undertaking projects that encourage and develop artistic interests in young people in the UK. The Ironmongers Company Grants of up to £10,000 to support projects that provide opportunities for disadvantaged children and The Annual Bullying Survey 2015 published In partnership with 73 schools and colleges across the UK, this Dith the Label survey of over 4,800 young people highlights the current climate of bullying amongst 13-20 year olds in the UK today. KBC Trust Grants for Youth Projects Grants will be considered for up to £2,000 for specific projects outside the organisation's core funding and will be considered on their own merits. OLW), 35 hours per week Are you an experienced manager who can strategically develop two existing learning centres into one project with volunteer- led ESOL provision, additional activities and an integrated Time Bank element? Vacancy: YMCA Inclusive Lives Project Co-ordinator £22,000. 40 hours per week The project targets people with disabilities with a focus to create opportunities to access programmes, which will lead to increasing participation into different physical activities, sports, dance and arts programmes.
