Lower School Uniform Policy
All students in Lower School are required to wear the school uniform. All items can be obtained in
Athens from:

Summer Uniform - worn from the beginning of Summer Term until October
Half-term
Girls’ Uniform






Light blue and white striped dress, or navy blue ‘skorts’ with white short-sleeved polo shirt with
collar, or the boy’s summer uniform
Navy blue cardigan or pullover
White short socks (or white tights if the weather is cold)
Navy blue peaked cap (neck flap recommended)
Black or dark blue shoes/canvas shoes or black, dark brown, dark blue or white sandals (one colour/no
designs and no trainers)
Hair bands or ribbons should be plain blue/white
Boys’ Uniform






Navy blue long shorts
White short-sleeved polo shirt with collar
Navy blue pullover
White short socks
Navy blue peaked cap (neck flap recommended)
Black or dark blue shoes/canvas shoes or black, dark blue or dark brown sandals (no trainers)
Winter Uniform – worn from October Half-term until end of Spring Term
Girls’ Uniform










Grey pleated skirt (no bib/straps or dresses), or grey trousers
Grey pullover or cardigan
Years 1–2: plain white long-sleeved or short-sleeved polo shirt
Years 3–6: plain white long sleeved or short-sleeved school shirt (not polo)
Scarlet red tie (Years 3–6 only)
Scarlet red blazer (currently only available at LB Creations)
Scarlet red knee length socks or tights
Black shoes (no trainers)
Plain, navy blue jacket or coat

Scarlet red tie (Years 3–6 only)

P.E.Kit
For Boys and Girls
 White V-necked t-shirt with navy blue stripe on V (currently only available from LB Creations)
 House colour t-shirt with name of your child’s house (Mayflower- red, Endeavour - yellow, Revenge green or Victory - blue) on front of t-shirt. This t-shirt is optional and is for use for inter-house
competitions. Coloured bibs will be available for children who do not have the t-shirt
 Navy blue shorts
 Navy blue tracksuit bottoms
 Red/Blue Tracksuit Jacket (currently only available from LB Creations)
 White socks
 Gym shoes
 Small towel
 P.E. bag to hold kit, plain navy blue or standard one (currently only available from LB Creations)
Swimming Kit






Boys : Navy blue swimming trunks (not baggy shorts)
Girls : Navy blue swimming costume
Regular sized towel
Swimming cap (house colour)
Flip-flops (optional)
Arm bands (if needed)
Other Items and Equipment
 Year 1 to Year 6 inclusive: a plain navy blue school bag, approximate size 35cm by 50cm. No other
bag should be brought into school (except PE & Swimming bags)
 Each child must have a lunch box with table napkin
Notes and Restrictions
 Jewellery is not permitted, except for simple stud earrings
 Children are not permitted to bring electrical items, mobile phones, toys or games to school unless
specifically requested. The school will not take any responsibility for the loss or damage of any such items
of personal property
ALL CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CHILD’S NAME
ALL UNCLAIMED ITEMS OF LOST PROPERTY ARE DONATED TO CHARITY AT THE END OF EACH TERM
