a junior, a good score can lead to many
potential scholarships.
The PSAT provides scores in the same three categories
as the SAT: (Reading, Math & Writing).
Find “YOUR SCORES” in your Results Pamphlet.
Each section of the PSAT has a possible score of 80.
“YOUR SELECTION INDEX”
is a total of all 3 parts.
Beneath each of
your scores, is a
comparison of
your score to the
scores of other
sophomores in the
country.

For a simple estimate - put a zero (0) at the
end of each your PSAT scores and that
would likely be your score on the SAT.
For example, if you have a 64 on the PSAT Math section,
your predicted math score for the SAT would be 640.

You can go to the website on the score sheet
to get a more accurate “Projected SAT
Score” by using the Online Access Code.
The Online Access Code can be
found here.
You can get more available resources and more accurate
SAT predictions with this code at

The “YOUR SKILLS” section
allows you to see which sections you excelled in
and where you can improve.
The “YOUR ANSWERS” section shows
the answers you gave on each question.
If you were incorrect, the correct
answer is supplied.
You can look up the questions and
possible answers in your copy of the
test booklet.
That depends on your plan for
life after high school....
