Welcome to Herbert Mennonite Brethren Church

THE CUBE UPDATE
It’s coming close to summer time! For us at the Cube it
means things are really busy! The month of May did not have
any large special events in it, but June is packed right full with
them!
Welcome to
Herbert Mennonite Brethren Church
June 1st , 2014
During May, we used our Bible study times to answer
some of the tough questions the Junior youth brought forward,
such as should we love Satan? Now we are working through
some spiritual disciplines with them. The Senior Youth have been
learning about who Jesus is through the stories of him in Scripture.
The first event coming in June is a presentation by Teen
Challenge to the youth on June 7th at 7pm. It’s going to be an
awesome time filled with testimonies and other cool things. The
day after, June 8th at 2pm, there is going to be a Church service
for the grads at the Cube. On June 20th, we are doing a Guys and
Girls night special event. For this event, we are taking the group
paintballing in Moose Jaw as well as doing some fun things back
at the Cube. On June 21st, there is a fundraising concession
happening at the Cube from 11am – 2pm. We will be selling
hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and pop. There will also be a bunch
of different garage sales happening in the gym at the Cube during
that time. You can rent a table to have your garage sale in the
Cube by calling Brent at 784-7228.
A final note for everyone to be aware of, the youth have
been selling community calendars again. If you have not yet
purchased one and would like to, please call Brent at 784-7228 to
order a calendar. The calendars are $10 again this year and all
proceeds go to the youth ministry. Thanks so much for all of your
support!

percent of the mother’s weight at the time the eggs are laid.
