Adverb Notes Adverbs- describe a verb o A basic definition of a verb is anything you can do (ie: run, walk, sing, taste) Many, but not all, adverbs end in the letters “LY” (verbs are bolded, adverbs are underlined) o I walked slowly to class. o She ran quickly through the open door. o We all sang beautifully at the concert. o I slowly tasted the squid that my mom made me try.
