• Properties with a Function or Convention centre where turnover
from these activities is more than 30%
• Properties located in Tropical North Queensland built prior to
1982, Properties with direct beach frontage; Properties located
on an island other than Tasmania or on an island not connected
to Mainland Australia or Tasmania by a bridge; properties located
above the snow line.
Key Eligibility Criteria
• The Business is a Motel or similar occupation with the prime
purpose of providing short term accommodation
• The Premises are of Brick or Concrete
• All rooms are fitted with a hard wired smoke detector or a
battery operated smoke detector that complies with all relevant
regulations
• Swimming pools or spas must be fenced with signage that meets
Australian Standards.
