Christ is the word of life
and the word of God
Brother Knights and Sister Columbiettes,
On Wednesday, January 18th, our Brother Knights went to Chappes
Funeral Home in East Islip to pay our respects to George Lundin PGK,
FDD. George was our District Deputy in the 5th District. He was very
instrumental in helping our council.
Our Brother Knights also delivered 10 fruit baskets to our Brother
Knights who are home bound, in nursing homes, assisted living homes
and hospitals. We have received Thank you notes from many of the
recipients. Good efforts by Don Cuozzo, Pat Eanniello, Rich Gallagher,
Al Passano and Frank Raffaele.
We will be sending out our Suffolk County Charity Chance Books. Each
member will receive 2 books. There are fifteen chances, but the members have to return $10/book. Five dollars will go to the operating
account which needs a boost.
We are still looking for help at Bingo. Floor walkers, lines and sellers.
Reminder, that you need to be added on the roster to get badges to work
at Bingo.
Remember in your prayers the poor, the needy, the starving and
distressed. Also the victims of abortion and all our men and women
in the service of our country. Please pray for all who are sick.
