PROJECT CHRISTMAS
Attention 4-H Members! Our next parish-wide community service event
will be "Project Christmas. "
Throughout the entire month of November, we are asking 4-Hers to collect new toys for our annual toy drive. Toys should be new, unwrapped, and target youth ages 9 and older. Gift cards (Wal-Mart,
Dollar Tree, Target, etc.) in $5, $10, and $20 amounts are always welcome!
These items will be distributed to needy youth in the area. All items
are needed no later than December 6. Call the 4-H Office at 7366519 to arrange for pick up or drop off of toys.
Thanksgiving Food Bank Support!!!
During the months of October, November, and December, Jefferson Parish 4-H members will be giving our local food bank. We are
collecting non-perishable food items in boxes, bags, and pouches (examples include rice, pasta, fruit cups, juice, dinner mixes). Due to transportation and storage, we will only be able to accept food items which are in boxes, bags, and pouches—no
canned goods can be accepted at this time! Thanks for helping those less fortunate in our community!
