 Horse accommodation available off site - $10 per yard, per night and $10.00 per camping vehicle, bookings with

Conditions of Entry










Competitors must nominate a named helper who must be available to help! Unaccompanied riders must assist
when not riding.
This competition will be run under the Constitutional Rules and Regulations of ESNZ. All applicable regulations
and rules will be strictly enforced
All Pony Club classes are run with affiliation from Southland Pony Club
The committee reserves the right to; cancel any class, divide any class, alter advertised times and transfer
competitors between sections of a competition Article 611.
If insufficient entries in graded classes they may be combined and prize money will be paid only if a qualifying
round is completed. Prizes are given out to a 1:5 ratio of entries

Horses need to be appropriately qualified. Please refer to the table in Article 633 of the “ESNZ Eventing Rules
2016 – Version 5.5, which can be down-loaded from the website.
All Riders need to be ESNZ members or a Financial Pony Club Member. First year of Full ESNZ Membership is
FREE for new members.
All Athletes who have had a fall during training on the Competition site or in Competition must be examined by
the official Medical officer before they either take part in another test, competition or leave the venue. The
Athlete is fully responsible for ensuring that this examination takes place.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Neither the Organiser of any event to which these rules apply nor the NF nor any
agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or
illness to Horses, owners, Athletes, spectators, land, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other

personal property whatsoever whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract, or in any other way
whatsoever.
REFUND POLICY: After the closing date, requests for refunds of Entry Fees must be in writing (email), all
requests will be presented to the Committee who MAY use their discretion

All persons and vehicles enter the property at their own risk
Strictly no dogs allowed – vehicles may be checked on entry and you will be asked to leave if you have a dog
Late entries will incur a penalty of $20.00 per entry, up until the Tuesday before the event.

The telephone number of an accompanying person/next-of-kin must be provided to the Event Secretary
before the event starts.
Eventing New Zealand Cross Country Style Prize – special award - sponsored by Krystal Mack Saunders
Photography - to be judged at 1.05m level and below, for riders that are uncategorised. The aim of this initiative
is to encourage good, safe cross country riding, and educate our riders in this area.
New MER rule - if you compete 2 levels below your qualifying standard you have to ride HC.
