Secret of Success: Happy Plant High Yield
Farmer “
Every cotton grower’s aim is to maximize the yield potential of each field on his farm. For achieving this goal, growers are
trying to produce healthy, actively growing plants, managing stresses and reducing its impact on plants. As long as plant
grows healthy it leads to increase water use efficiency and nutrients conversion, which in turn leads to increased yield.
By adopting above philosophy and usage of Jaffer Agro Services (JAS) products and advice, this farmer has created history in
farm production, i.e.
Record yield of 90 mds per acre from 210 acres.

Guidelines
Management of High Yield
International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) has publicized in
Cotton plant being perennial with indeterminate growth habit
one of its research that for one bale of cotton of 480lb (220
has the most complex structure of any major field crop.
kg), 60 lb of N, 25 to 30 lb of P and 60 lb of K would be

excessive fruit abscission.
Yield is essentially controlled by the genetics of the plant and
the environment. These in turn are further modified by
cultural practices. At agronomic level, yield may be
considered in terms of its major components: boll number per
unit area multiplied with the average boll weight. Growth of
JAS has further explained these requirements by converting
them as per Pakistani standard which is one bale of cotton
weight to 170 kg and for it 22kg of N, 14kg of P and 22kg of
K will be required.
For different target yields NPK requirement will be as follows:
the plant and development of bolls depends on the production
of dry matter by photosynthesis. The necessary carbohydrate
products of photosynthesis need to be translocated to the
developing fruits which in turn need to be protected from
pests.
The shedding or abscission of squares and young bolls is a

NPK Requirement in relation to Target Yield
A major factor affecting both cotton yield and quality is the
availability of adequate and balanced nutrition. Each nutrient
has specific role within plant and unless plants demands are
met, production would be impacted; hence for different target
yields nutrition’s requirements will be different.
In addition to the basic NPK requirements, insects’
management along with weeds and overall nutrition’s
management are also required to get the desired yield.

Heliothis
Spintor
40 ml / Acre
Thiosulfan
800ml/acre
Spintor is effective both by contact and ingestion, quick speed of control, provides longer
residual control in the field, highly active at low use rates. Also recommended for Thrips and
harmless on beneficial insects which are helpful for pest management.
White Fly (Adult)
Thiosulfan Keeps the crop green have no desiccation effect, support excellent crop growth,
and helps plants in assimilation of food. Thiosulfan has unique property of low toxicity to
beneficial insects, and pollinating pests in particular (Bio-selective).
White Fly (Nymphs)
Buffer
500gm/acre
Buffer prevents molting of White Fly (nymphs), suppresses egg deposition and causes adult
insects to lay non-viable eggs; as a result, it reduces the total population of nymphs and
adults in the next generation and shows a long lasting control effect.
It also has no adverse effects on natural enemies and beneficial insects, and is considered to
be an ideal IGR for integrated pest management (IPM).

Fertigrain Start
Sowing
4ml/kg
Fertigrain Start contains Amino Acids and other natural nutrients
which provide nutrition/energy to seed thus increase seeds
germination percentage and provide a vigorous start to plant. After
seed treatment with Fertigrain start, product will cover entire seed
surface and after germination of root from seed product will be
immediately taken up by the plant, it provides nutrition & energy to
plant to emerge from the soil, improves root development
Wokozim Power +
(Granule)
Basal
1 bag at sowing & 1
after germination
Structural Development of plant, Wokozim power + helps in
improving uptake of complex molecules from the soil and improves
soil microbial activity. Wokozim is a storehouse of naturally occurring
substances which improve plants physiological system at very low
concentrations. Contribute to cell growth and breakdown of complex
molecules into simpler ones easily utilized by the plant. The
constituents of Wokozim induce faster and vigorous development of
root mass which improves assimilation of previously unavailable
nutrients and other substances from the soil.
Wokozim Cotton
25/30 days and
40 to 45 days
after Sowing
250ml/acre
Structural Development of plant, Plant growth and development
processes are regulated by natural plant hormones. Bio-stimulants are
precursor of hormones. The level of hormones can be influenced by
altering plant hormonal level or by changing plant ability to respond to
it natural hormones. Wokozim contribute to enhance the balance of
plant growth hormones, consequently it enhances root and foliage
development, increases availability of micro and macro nutrients and
boosts plant resistance against environmental stresses.
Tecamin Max
In stress situation
500ml/acre
Stress management of plant, Tecamin Max induces fast restart of
development of proteins in plant by providing Amino acids and helps
the plant to uptake available nutrients from soil. It Improves plant
growth/Vigor, increase flowering & Fruiting, retention of flowers and
fruits and helps in quick recovery from stress.
Soluplant 20:20:20

Fruiting Booster, Stimulate flower development and root growth
functions including photosynthesis, protein and carbohydrate
synthesis, water regulation in plant cells and fruit formation Based on
potassium nitrate.
Bonus 13:02:44
At Boll
development
stage
2kg/acre
Fruit development Booster, Support processes needed to sustain
plant growth, reproduction and aids in photosynthesis for food
formation. Also contains special adjuvant for better adhesion to the
leaf surface and creates fertilizer clusters that release nutrients over a
prolonged period of time, improves absorption for continuing action.
Consists of pure nutrients only, based on potassium & Nitrate.
Solupotash (WS SOP )
At Boll
development
stage
2kg/acre
Fruit development Booster, Contain Potash and Sulphur. Increases
root growth, improves drought tolerance and support photosynthesis
for food formation. Reduces incidence and severity of wilt diseases.
Increases water use efficiency, and affects fiber properties:
micronaire, length, and strength. Important in maintaining sufficient
osmotic pressure within the boll for fiber elongation.
