Paddlers must remain alert for sweepers, deadheads and other natural hazards at all times. IMPORTANT NOTICES: Bowron Lake has a number of special regulations to ensure visitor safety and to mitigate impacts in the park. Please ensure you are familiar with these regulations – More information can be found here. Fishing regulations are in effect. Bait is banned and only single barbless hooks are permitted. WEATHER CONDITIONS: Weather conditions can change rapidly - Expect spring conditions. Temperatures are still cool at night. Short term and long term weather forecasts can be found here. TRAIL CONDITIONS: Expect muddy conditions on most trails due to recent rain and snow melt. Trails are very soft and overweight canoes can cause major damage. All portage trails are now fully free of snow. WATER CONDITIONS: Water conditions can change rapidly - Expect spring conditions. Water levels are still high due to recent snow melt and spring runoff.
