RIS P EKO Air Handling Unit with Heat Recovery
Product specific information
The unit provides air cleaning, fresh air supply and extraction from the premise. Thermal energy
of the extracted air is transferred to the aluminum exchanger plates and is used to warm up the
supply air flow.

APPLICATION

CASING
• Self-supporting casing made by double skin steel panels;
• Mineral wool insulation thickness 20mm;
• Very tight external insulation;
• Double thermal insulation;
• Fitted with mounting brackets;
• Integrated stainless steel condensate tray.
FANS
• EC motors with integrated thermal protection;
• Direct driven motor allows a steeples and silent operation;
• Backward curved blades powered by low energy demanding motors;
• Maintenance free ball bearings that ensure long service life.
HEAT EXCHANGER
• High efficiency aluminum counter flow heat exchanger up to 90%.

HEAT EXCHANGER PROTECTION
• Optionally supplied electrical pre-heater EKA NV PH;
• EKA NV PH is equipped with differential pressure switch, air flow sensor and temperature set
knob;
• EKA NV PH is equipped with independent 0-10V control.
FILTERS
• Made of flame retardant material;
• G4 for exhaust air;
• F7 low pressure loss for fresh air.
MOUNTING
For heating efficiency reasons the unit should, if possible, be installed within the area being heated.
For the connections between grilles and the exchanger, rigid ductwork is preferable. Outside of
the heated areas, insulated ducts must be used.

SPEED CONTROL
• Fans’ speed controlled by the simple use 4 steps speed regulator SMT-D-4P-EL;
• Optionally supplied speed regulator SMT-D-4P-EL;
• There are 3 speed steps, 2 of which are adjustable by potentiometer.
OPTIONALLY SUPPLIED ACCESSORIES
• Ducted electrical pre-heater EKA NV PH;
• Ducted electrical post-heater EKA NV;
• Speed regulator SMT-D-4P-EL;
• Condensate removal pump;
• Funnel trap for a dripping condensate (siphon with backward valve);
