At the Capio Mosel-Eifel-Klinik, we utilise
all available therapeutic methods to treat
varicose veins. Apart from well-proven methods which we have perfected to the highest degree, useful, new high-tech methods
are also used. All interventions are carried
out under gentle and completely risk-free
local anaesthesia which has already been
applied in more than 250,000 cases without any complication so far. If desired, the
patient can be placed into a light, induced
sleep for this purpose.
In co-operation with universities, we are involved in future-oriented studies which are
accepted on the international level.
Insofar as you are insured by a statutory
provider, please bring your health insurance card and / or a physician‘s referral
for vascular surgery / phlebology and any
available reports of previous related findings with you for your visit.
The preliminary exam lasts approx. 1.5
hours - and is risk-free as well as pain-free.
For this purpose, state-of-the art ultrasound- and infrared-based medical-engineering devices are available.
Regardless of which particular surgical procedure is applied to the treatment for eliminating impaired veins - patients regain their
mobility immediately after the procedure.
The applied surgical and anaesthetic techniques are not or only slightly stressful for
the patient, and are therefore suitable for
older patients as well.
