How to comb bind
Using the spreader
1.Slide a binding comb down onto the spreader with the
comb teeth opening out toward you.
4.Add the remaining sections of the document
from front to back.
2.Pull the spreader handle down towards you to open up
the comb.
5.To finish binding, push the spreader handle back
towards the machine. This will close the comb
and allow you to lift the bound document off the
spreader.
Tip: Take care not to open the comb too far or it will spring off.
3.Take 30 sheets of paper or less from the front of your
document and turn them face down. Line up the punch
holes with the open comb and slide the paper downward
so that it hangs from the comb teeth.
