Olim in insula longinqua erat leaena. Leaena benigna prope
silvam habitabat. Semper leaena in silvam ambulabat et bestias
spectabat. Leaena erat amica bestiis et, quod magna erat, saepe
bestias iuvare temptabat. Interdum bestiae ad leaenam aquam
et cibum portabant.
Olim autem agricola et familia ad insulam leaenae navigant.
Agricola parvam casam aedificat. Mox quoque pulchram silvam
et terram vastare incipit, quod herbas colere desiderat. Bestiae
autem silvae sunt territae et iratae. Leaenae dicunt, “Nova
familia non est bona; terram non curant. Serva nos, leaena!
Neca agricolam et familiam! Tum nos iterum erimus laetae.”
Nunc leaena est anxia. Dicit, “Quamquam desidero bestias
iuvare, num familiam agricolae necare debeo?” Subito bonam
sententiam habet.
Itaque ad casam agricolae lente ambulat et se inter herbas
celat. Cum familiam videt, fremit. Filiae agricolae sunt territae!
