alm Coast and the Flagler Beaches, located between St. Augustine and
Daytona Beach, is known for its pristine uncrowded beaches, fabulous
weather and oceanview dining. But it’s also known for being one of the
most pet-friendly beach destinations in Florida. But where can you take your
pets? And what are the best things to do during your “dog-cation”? Here are
some of the best activities designed just for your four-legged friend. All of
the restaurants listed on the waggin’ tail itinerary are pet-friendly and offer
views of the Intracoastal or Atlantic Ocean!
WAGGIN’ TAIL ITINERARY
Morning
Head to Flagler Beach and start your day at Java Joint for their signature
crab cake benedict and coffee with your dog by your side.
After breakfast head either north of N. 10th Street or south of S. 10th Street
to play in the waves or lay in the sun with your four-legged friend.
Afternoon
Take a break for some lunch at Turtle Shack Café or High Tides at Snack
Jack.
Head over to Wadsworth Park, a 60,000 sq. ft. fenced dog park where your
dog can run unleashed.
There are over 125 miles of trails in Flagler County that you can walk/
skateboard along with your dog. Lehigh Trail is a local pet favorite!
Check out The Bark Spot, the area’s premier pet boutique for some unique
treats.
Dinner
Pull your boat up to Hidden Treasure Raw Bar & Grill on the Intracoastal
Waterway in Flagler Beach and enjoy outdoor dining alongside your pal.

PET POLICIES TO REMEMBER
Pet friendly beaches are north of N. 10th Street and south of S. 10th Street
Doggies must be on leash no longer than 5 feet long
All that is asked in return is that visitors note the signs and remember to
pick up after their pet to keep our beaches beautiful.
If you and your pooch will be spending much time out of doors, remember
to pack plenty of water, especially if you’re visiting during the “dog days”
of summer.
