® Visual Plot Results Early Summer 2015 Rhyzo-Link® solutions are for innovative producers seeking greater nutrient utilization, elevated coping mechanisms, and a higher level of plant productivity without the degenerative effects on soil health typically promoted by conventional fertilizers. This “Bio-Charged” fertilizer with included plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) promotes an environment more conducive to plant growth, as well as to provide improved tolerance to biotic and abiotic plant interactions which occur throughout the growing season. Rhyzo-Link® solutions are a proprietary convergence of a high quality fertilizer with a pure culture, poly-microbial component while ensuring a wide range of plant benefits which directly affect many physiological cycles and processes. ™ L IA T N E T RISE TO YOUR PO ® WHAT IS RHYZO-LINK®? WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE END-USER Rhyzo-Link solutions are the next generation in plant fertility, combining a high quality NPK fertilizer with a pure culture, poly-microbial component (PGPR) for use in a wide range of environmental conditions and cropping systems. This “BioCharged” fertility solution is designed to provide greater nutrient utilization and efficiency via increased plant biomass, as well as better adaptability to biotic and abiotic factors which occur through numerous physical, chemical, and environmental interactions. Rhyzo-Link® solutions provide a buffering or moderating “link” between soil health/ chemistry and plant productivity through efficient balance, placement, and recovery of soil/plant nutrients. With the plant signaling mechanism (triggered by environmental conditions) via the release of root exudates, to the ultimate production of beneficial plant metabolites by PGPR, soil and plant processes are “linked” together to result in increased growth and yield by the following actions: ® WHAT IS POWERBLEND™? PowerBlend™ is a patented Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) which is unique to the marketplace. It is a pure culture, multi-strain, poly-microbial solution formulated to enhance fertilizer solutions. It has the natural ability to improve nutrient utilization which helps the plant to better tolerate biotic and abiotic interactions. This is done through the production and ultimate release of secondary metabolites (i.e. enzymes, lipopeptides, biosurfactants, etc.) into the rhizosphere which then impact plant processes such as nutrient availability, root hair proliferation, and systemic mechanisms, just to name a few. Once applied to the rhizosphere and/or phyllosphere and absorbed by the plant, it helps to promote a healthy plant with a more pronounced root system, and ultimately helps to improve crop yield and productivity. PowerBlend™, when incorporated into fertilizer solutions, truly becomes an easy to use “Bio-Charged” fertility package. • Improved seedling vigor and stand establishment • Improved handling of biotic and abiotic interactions • Improved nutrient uptake and efficiency • Improved soil health and water use efficiency • Improved adaptive and coping mechanisms • Improved flowering and fruit quality THIS ALL LEADS TO INCREASED PLANT YIELD AND PRODUCTIVITY. Daniel had left no check strips and all his corn looked great. His cousin Jeff Martin near Farmersville had run out of starter in one strip, so we had a comparison, as can be seen on the picture. This was very fertile ground with lots of dairy manure for years. The was no color difference where he ran out, just a height difference, and, when we dug up a couple plants, a dramatic root size difference. This field continued the same trend as previous fields: in the treated row the soil was difficult to clean off the roots. The components of the PowerBlend™ that are active in the soil were doing their magic again! Jeff Martin mentioned that field that was all shale which normally wouldn’t grow a crop, had a nice stand this year. This field was planted in twin rows May 8. The corn was all chest high, except the “check” strip, which was about waist high. Population 29/30,000. Wayne Oosterhoff, Pennsylvania Here is a picture that Malcolm from Ag View FS and I dug on 5/28/15. Corn was planted around 4/20/15 at 34,000 and emergence was excellent with 34,000 emerged. The grower is a Strip Tiller and the field these pictures came from there was only one strip of RhyzoLink® 9-15-3 and it stood out. The grower called the salesman very happy with what he was seeing, everywhere he put on the RhyzoLink® 9-15-3. This is the most difference I have seen so far in growth stage. Very impressive, we looked at another field that was planted around the 10th of May and not as evident difference but when roots were dug saw more roots and hairs on the Rhyzo-Link® corn. Mike Day, Illinois WHEAT RESULTS Here are a few pictures of wheat in Dalhart, TX at Bezner Farms. I was blown away by the difference as was Mark Bezner. We had 20 acres of just NACHURS Finish Line® at a quart per acre and 20 acres of NACHURS Finish Line® mixed with Rhyzo-Link® 0-0-15. Both products performed significantly better over the check but the Rhyzo-Link® and NACHURS Finish Line® was just phenomenal. This was applied just as the wheat broke dormancy. We ended up with more heads of wheat as well. I walked two towers in on the pivot to get a good sample from all 3 areas and I pulled them by the clump. These pictures are not more than one clump even though it looks like I pulled 3 clumps to one of the check…that’s how crazy good this stuff really is. This is the first time with my own eyes I’ve seen Rhyzo-Link® first hand. This stuff should be on every crop EVER planted. Planting conditions were wet all spring so we see a lot of sidewall compaction. The lateral roots on the sunflowers with Rhyzo-Link® are breaking through the sidewall compaction while the lateral roots on the sunflowers with no starter are having a tough time penetrating the sidewall compaction. We may see a lot of corn and sunflowers tipping over later in the year. Enzymes Similar to fermentation, where microbes assimilate sugars and exude alcohols, our unique blend of PGPR’s transform sugars and other nutrients into useful metabolites. These include: • • • • • • • Phytocompounds Siderophores Lipopeptides Microbial Antagonists Enzymes Systemic Triggers Chitinases These metabolites immediately go to work in the soil to enhance nutrient uptake, lateral root growth, root hair proliferation, biotic and abiotic functionality, and systemic mechanisms within the plant, just to name a few. When the sporulated bacteria are placed in an environment which is conducive to growth, they come out of their “protective shell” and rapidly expand in number and begin producing these metabolites.
