LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents,
Happy Easter! I hope everyone had a great celebration last weekend and continues to celebrate this
Easter season.
Today, you will be receiving a letter in an e-mail from Fr. Mike and me regarding the planned changes for
our school next year. If you did not receive that letter, please contact the school office. These changes
will make a great school even better! Thank you for your support. Any ideas, suggestions, and input are
very much valued and considered.

A reminder for 7 and 8 grade parents: Your child will be on field trips next week Tuesday (caves) and
Wednesday (Kettle Moraine State Park).
A reminder to all K5-Grade 8 parents: Your child should return his/her MAP Goal Log by next week

NOTICE FOR PARENTS OF STUDENTS IN GRADE 4
Heid Music will be here on April 25 to conduct a band orientation beginning at 9:30. Students who signed
up for band next year will be introduced to the various band instruments and will be able to try out various
pieces. Miss Rivera and Heid Music staff will provide feedback regarding the best instrument choice for
the student. Parents are welcome to attend. If you are not able to join us, the information will be sent

home with your child on the 25 .
ST. JUDE MATH-A-THON
SJSH raised $2030 for St. Jude’s Children Hospital. Thank you to everyone who supported this annual
cause.
LENTEN COLLECTION
Our Lenten collection for our partner school in Uganda raised just under $400. The sisters who staff this
school eagerly await our financial assistance each year. Thank you for your support and the
encouragement given to your child(ren) to share with those less fortunate.

competition in Chilton just before Easter. We now have the results! Congratulations to all who

We can certainly be proud of our students. As you can see from the report, our students exceeded the national
average in every test category at both grade levels.
SCRIP
Get your Scrip Credits for the 2013/2014 school year – SCRIP Purchases through 4/28/13 Count

Tuition Credits earned from SCRIP orders placed through Sunday, April 28 will count toward the
2013/2014 school year. If you’re anticipating any big purchases or want to stock up on some high rebate

SCRIP cards (like Gas cards with 10% rebates), purchase them by Sunday April 28 to get tuition credits
for the 2013/2014 school years. All purchases after this date will count toward the following school year
(2014/2015).
Thanks for supporting the SJSH SCRIP Program. It’s a great way to reduce the cost of your child’s tuition
and fundraise for the school at the same time.
