our story
In 1979, Dieter Nickel convinced his father, Peter, to join him in a
business venture that had the pair building cabinets in their garage.
From this humble beginning, the Nickels reputation for quality
cabinetry and reliable service began to grow.
Out of the garage and into a small warehouse, Nickels continued to
serve a growing base of local clients. After many years of careful
planning, we moved the operation to our present location in
Richmond, BC.
Dieter Nickel continues to own and operate a state-of-the-art
production facility and showroom where our most important asset
is the skilled and experienced team of long-serving employees.
No longer just a local company, Nickels is proud to be a Canadian
manufacturer that serves western Canada and the United States
exclusively through a network of authorized cabinet dealers.
