CITY MANAGER’S NOTES AND QUOTES City of East Palo Alto New to the East Palo Alto Team In the past six months, the City’s Human Resources Department has been busily engaged in supporting the City Council’s strategic initiative of Increasing Organizational Effectiveness and Efficiency. This request came in response to the problems that we have had with transients taking refuge in our building. It was also observed that the side stairwell doors were not shutting completely after staff exited. There is now an alarm on the 1st floor of both the north and south side stairwell doors. Please do not exit the building from the side stairwell doors unless in the case of an emergency. Please get the message out and request that they exit from the central stairwell or elevator.
